Morning trades were marked by yet another drop in Bitcoin (BTC). So, Bitcoin dropped below the $19,000 benchmark. In addition, the entire top-10 rating of cryptocurrencies turned out to be decreasing, with Ethereum reaching the largest drop.

As for Bitcoin, over the past 24 hours, its decline was 1.8%. And over the past week, we witnessed its value drop by 9%. At the same time, Ethereum decreased by 5.4% to $1,252 benchmark, dropping 23% in a week. Solana (SOL) decreased by 1.9% to $30.60. Dogecoin dived by 1.8% to $0.057 benchmark.
Bitcoin has traded below $19,000 for almost the entire Wednesday. Yet after the Fed announced the interest rate at 5 a.m. in Hong Kong, it managed to strengthen to $19,674, and then rolled back.

XRP dropped by 4.5% to $0.39. The decrease was triggered by the objection of the token issuer, Ripple Labs Inc., to the announcement of the US Securities and Exchange Commission. Let us remind that the statement referred to the possibility of the parties involved to request additional time to receive additional documentation on the lawsuit against Ripple.

Meantime, XRP gained 14.7% over the past week. It managed to strengthen as both plaintiffs were pushing for a summary judgment that could end litigation that started back in December 2020. At the time, SEC officials insisted that Ripple had raised $1.38 Billion through an unregistered securities offering.
